buttercream ghost mints

there are sooo many ghost treats out there,
so naturally i wanna make some too.

i don't know if it's my old age or my laziness these days or probably more my exhaustion, that i need to make a ghost treat the easiest and quickest way possible.

so what do you think of these?
i got the recipe HERE and you can make these lickety split.
in fact, i'll show you how with the least words possible.

the recipe says to roll out the dough but i just stick it in a large ziploc and go to town smooshing it til smooth.

i ended up using only 3 cups of powdered sugar.

then once mixed,
so hey did you think you were making hard boiled eggs?
well you're not, and that's no yolk.
hyuk hyuk.
:>P
so hey did you think you were making white gumdrops?
i won't sugarcoat you.

i'll just sugarcoat them.
hyuk hyuk
ok i'm annoying myself now.

let's just do this:
so now you got your little ghosts.

they're awful quiet.
i chose to leave them mouthless.
i hear crickets.
we better cover these guys up with saran wrap before they get eaten by the crickets.
oOOooOo spooky!

hey, i see one with a mouth?!
not til halloween mister and that my little ghosts, will be more spookier for you than us as little hungry hands get you.

  1. "Pour, mix, pour. mix, SMOOSH!" Got it! These are adorable! And the little story that follows 'em along - lol - so cute and funny! And there's always one in the bunch who can't keep his mouth shut! (or, in this case - one who has a mouth!)
