perfect man peanut butter valentine truffles

you know that saying,
tall, dark, and handsome?

where did that come from?

and who really is the perfect man?

is there such a guy?
whoa!
is that guy who i think he is?

but where did he come from?

could it be from a place called michael's?
with cool molds and chocolate candy melt?
but what's that stuff under him?

could it be out of
18 crushed nutter butter cookies
+
4 oz. cream cheese
+
2-3 tbsp. peanut butter
all mixed together to get peanut butter truffles?!?
then smooshed into the men mold once the chocolate is set only to be placed in the freezer for at least 2 more hours?
then once set, carefully removed to get...
wait for it...
.......
.......

the perfect MEN?!?!?

oh swoon!!!!

w-wh-what?!?!?!
he even says he needs room for improvement?!?!
oh my goodness and now he's going to include
some sweet nothings too, with another mold from michael's.

oh heart be still!!!
why i think tall, dark and handsome
is out the window.

cuz it looks like not only the ladies will love these,
but any guy will too!

st. patty's day pot of gold rolo bags

ok i know i'm on a rainbow role so
i might as well continue with it.
here we have a cute pot of gold bag
filled with rolo candy :)
it's guaranteed to make the recipient
feel awfully lucky!

so put on your best clint eastwood face
and ask that someone,
"are ya feelin' lucky?"
and then hand them one of these.

oh i guess i better show you how to make them first right?
it's your lucky day.

first, download this free image
and print on an 8x10 size to fit
a 5x7 inch party favor bag that you can get at
michael's or any party good store.
carefully cut out the image and place on
top of your bag to be sure it's a good fit.
then do the following:

then, if you're in the mood and have
stickers or dollar spot tattoos from target
like i had, do this next step:
so are you feelin' lucky?
cuz i think these would give a pretty good answer when clint or anyone else asks you,
"go ahead. make my (st. patty's)day!"

diy halloween eyeball favors

i'm not much into makeup.
my cosmetic bag, if you even wanna call it that,
consists of 4 items plus an eyelash curler.

yes you read that right.
it takes me all of 10 minutes to get ready whereas it takes my teen daughter hours.

good gracious i would DIE if i spent that much time on myself.

i would much much rather spend hours making cake pops or a diy craft whereas my daughter would DIE if she did that.

but enough about us.
okey dokey.
here is a diy craft that didn't take long at all to do,
similar to my makeup session.

today we are making eyeball favors
for your halloween party gathering.

here we go again:
those treat containers made my eyes
get really BIG when i saw them.
gosh they are actually too big to make one treat in so
i filled them up with eyeballs.

there's a clear part and a cloudy part to the container.
here's what to do with that plastic dollar tree eye and some hot glue onto the cloudy part of the container.
don't ask me why one part is cloudy and the other is clear.
but i left the clear part alone so the eyeballs inside could be seen clearer.

ok let's get those glasses now.
so hey do you wear false eyelashes?
from what you read about me and my makeup routine, i certainly do not but my daughter does once in awhile.
heck, i wouldn't know what to do with those things if i did get them except for thinking there are bugs in my eyes all night and rubbing the heck outta them.

anyway, carefully peel those eyelashes
from the glasses and do this:

well whadya know!
those eyelashes DO make a big difference!
but let's get real here.
sometimes those darn eyelashes do NOT cooperate,
as they aren't always easy to peel off.
but i was bound and determined to have eyelashes on all my eyes so i did this, gluing one lash at a time.

so hey! don't judge.
some folks are better at makeup than others...
and besides, when do halloween monsters have pretty eyes?

ok now i've seen everything.
the lashes are good to go here so i guess it looks like
the eyes have it.

emoji treat boxes with emoji gumballs

pssst...
hey you like to text?
yeah me too.
you like to use emojis?
yeah, me too.

in fact, i like to use it so much
i can't seem to text message someone
without a familiar yellow face attached to it,
otherwise, it just looks so....i dunno, plain.

anyway, with all the emoji love going on,
i decided to make something using them as an inspiration.

so here goes another treat:
emoji treat boxes.
heehee they make me :)

in fact, i think i am going to let these  little yellow faces tell you just how these were made,
after a trip to jo ann fabrics, where i got these:

pssst.
you still with me?
let's make more shall we?

time to fill it up..
using plain yellow candy...?
no! :>(
yes!!!:)
:>D!!!

LOL.
;>D
