hey guys,
ever try one of these?
ever try one of these?
i got one for my daughter when she was a toddler. it had a little shade and was the cutest thing ever.
now i want one for myself.
yes i know i would look completely silly in one now.
but that's not the part that bothers me.
it's the fact that my behind would probably not fit in it.
dang this old age and slow metabolism!
well, if you can't beat it, join it.
so let's make some donuts!
first, go here for the recipe i used.
here's a little synopsis of what to do.
yummy!
they smell deeeevine.
but we can't eat them yet.
first we gotta do this.
anybody got any worms to feed those tiny baby birds in the pan?
oh yeah, they're ducks.
good cuz i totally hate worms.
they give me the heebie jeebies.
wait! do ducks eat worms?
never mind. moving on...
yes i googled "what is the name for a group of ducks".
i almost put "brace of ducks" when i first saw the answer til i researched a little more and one definition said it was 2 dead ducks.
so i guess brace was not gonna do.
at least not til someone eats these.
:>P
wait a sec...something's wrong.
this is supposed to be an enticing picture of donuts.
oh crap!
wait...what did i just say?...
yes! lead them to the water please.
well, at least the last pics are neater.
so looks like for this post i mentioned a big behind, dead ducks, worms and crap.
oops.
i don't think i will ever measure up to those pro food bloggers.
at least the donuts are pretty yummy.
These are so cute ~ and they look absolutely delicious!
ReplyDeletethanks Mary Beth! i asked my kids what they thought they were and they said rubber duckies so i guess you can make these for baby showers too!?! i told them it was a float from the olden days and they just stared at me so i gave them a donut to go away. HAHAHA
DeleteI thought I saw one of these flying over my back yard a bit ago!!! Wish he would have landed, I'd have eaten him!! Oh, they look so good! Adorable, tasty, cute, patoot, fun, fun, FUN! Do you ever make plain food? Bet your family is disappointed when you do! Thanks for another fantabulous post and my happy day!!! Your friend forever (and not in the scary way), Dona
ReplyDeletei would tell you to look out for more Dona but the quacks flew in the wrong direction. :>P
Deleteand as far as plain food goes i think not cuz i have the food craft curse where i think something doesn't look right if it's normal. does that make sense? my family just shakes their head at me. LOL!!! never a dull moment.
thank you to one of my BBFF (that's blogger BFF by the way) and also not in the scary way :>D
