mini jack o'lantern light sticks

you guys are busy.
i am busy.

so who has time for long elaborate crafts when halloween is only a few weeks away?

i sure don't but for some odd reason,
i always seem to do it anyway.

can someone please help me with simple crafting cuz i seem to not know how to do that lately...?!?
anyway, what i have for you is simple i guess,
but you be the judge.
as long as you like it is what matters.

i like it and it only took me 1/2 hr. to do so that's simple huh?

let's just get on with it...
 first paint your pumpkins.
you can do fancy designs but i chose
plain simple orange for these.

next step:
and since i can't settle for option one,
simple-minded me chose option two.

then i took it a step or two deeper...
light?
i don't see a lot of light?
just a tiny bit out of the nose of one of the pumpkins.
how do you turn the light on?
oh! there's the light!
simple or not, these guys are fun. and cute. so i'm gonna stick to my not-really-simple-but-we'll-say-it's-simple-crafts.
hope that's ok with you.

in the meantime,

  1. OMGosh these are adorable! Making them for sure with my granddaughter. Going out today for desperately needed groceries but whose gonna know if I stop by JoAnn's for these pumpkins, right? Kids will love waving them around in the dark - and so will this ole grandma!!! Thanks!
