haunted tree peanut butter chocolate fudge

dear halloween,
you are a scary holiday.
in a creepy scary silly sorta way.

and no no no , i am not talking about the blood and guts and demonic one-eyed brain smashing zombie freakazoids that wanna come out and party,
i am talking about the fun side of you.

the side that doesn't give you nightmares but instead dreams of fun stuff that make you laugh and scream.
scream with delight that is.

at least that's how i am gonna look at you.

you're creepy scary silly cuz you make me think of things like this:
wanna get creepy scary silly with me?

let's do this.
make it easy on yourself and buy some fudge.
it'll save you time and plenty of sugar.
man those branches are delicate!
that's why you need to use a spatula to put it on a liner so they don't fall apart on you.
it also helps to freeze the trees first and then place them on a liner so they will be firmer.

don't mind the unevenness or the cracks on the tree.
it adds character! :)
once the fudge is on the liner, do this next:

i used a red food marker for the eyes.
pretty aren't they?

looks like me lately
with my late nights making crazy stuff...
anywho, let's see what's next.
anyone got any Tylenol?
liquid is preferable as trees have trouble swallowing pills.
did you know that?

whoa scary aren't they?!
hmmm, Red didn't seem phased a bit...
you trees better try harder if you wanna scare anyone!

LOOK!
here comes someone else.
c'mon show 'em your stuff!
delicious?!?!...delicious?!?!

delicious.
well, can't say i feel sorry for these trees,
as they sure made me happy sittin' in my belly.

much better than someone dressed like an axe murderer
& jumping outta the bushes.
agree?

  1. Oooooo! Scary! But I think I'd risk goin' in for a taste - just a small, itty bitty, little teeny tiny taste - yeah, right! I'd eat the entire forest and then come looking for more! "Deforestation?" Done!

  4. Oh. I'm seriously drooling. Honestly, if I had a package of peanut butter fudge right now....I'd eat it! It would never make it to a tree. So I'll remember to buy 2 packages....one to eat, one to make! Now I'm brilliant!!!! Dona, the BBFF!!!!!
