frightful fancy fingernail pretzels

yowza.
say that 3 times fast!
frightful fancy fingernail
frightful fancy fingernail
frightful fancy fingernail
is your tongue all twisted up?

well, it wouldn't be if you were biting your nails.
which, i know is a nasty habit but with these, it is perfectly acceptable, and actually, highly encouraged.
look. isn't it cool?
grab a bunch of candy melts.
(hopefully you didn't leave some in your car while you were running errands like the fate of the yellow one below)
let's work with the black ones first.
grab some toothpicks as your "pencil", dip the end of it in the melted candy,  and start drawing away!
take a look on the front to see how you did.
if you like what you see, go on to the white candy melt. if not, just wipe it off with a napkin and start over. we're gonna use the white for 2 of the fingernails.
ok go over the black dots ...
and fill in the nail part.
done with the white.
now onto the light green.
and now dark green, yellow, and orange.
then take the yellow and make a chevron line on the last nail and also an orange chevron line if you wanna do what i did. then you can fill the nail up with purple candy melt or whatever color.
it's all up to you.

when you're done with the last fingernail,
take another look on front.
you like?
goodie! add the chocolate part now for the finger and top with the pretzel rods.
then freeze for about 15 minutes or so.

while you wait for them to freeze,
grab a bunch of sprinkles and candy to embellish the nails.
i use these a lot but i had a ton more sprinkles and such but my camera was whining due to the million shots i kept taking. so pretend there is a pic of a bunch of different sprinkles and candy:>P

now it's time to pop the pretzels outta the mold, use melted candy as the glue for the all those sprinkle and candy embellishments, and check out your spooky awesome manicure!
wanna see the details?
the count's my favorite :)

aren't they funny?
but i kept lookin' at them and thinking,
"hey, somethin's wrong here!"
and i couldn't figure it out til i realized there were 6 fingers instead of 5!
doi! on me!

halloween fingers are never just 5 like us humans!

double doi on me!
so there.
i got my first halloween post up due to the fact i am highly stressed when i see halloween posts up already and it's not even october yet.

good thing my birthday is actually on halloween so i will just give myself that excuse to post many many tricks and treats til all hallow's eve arrives.

wait! did i just say my birthday is ON halloween?!?!

oh. em. geewillikers i think i just gave myself more stress to crank out more ideas since i am a halloween born freakazoid.

oh well,
hope you guys prepare yourself for more halloween insanity to come!
(so this is me now, biting my fingernails due to the high level of stress i just caused myself)
