cut out mason jar valentine treat bags

today we are gonna talk about packaging.
and no not the kind of packaging they do in the grocery store where they put the lettuce in with the can of corn you just bought,
but the packaging that makes you stop in your tracks and go,
"ahhh! what is this?!?! i must have it...don't care if i really need it, but it is just so darn cute!"

this just explained probably 80% of the stuff i have in my craft room.

anyway, i made a cute packaging idea you guys can totally steal cuz it'll make you say (hopefully),
"ahhh! what is this?!?! i must have it...don't care if i really need it, but it is just so darn cute!"

ok, here we go.
i got the clear bags from hobby lobby but you can get any 4x6 clear bags from michael's or jo ann's too.

here's the printable you can use for your bags. just right click, save, and print on the bag itself as a 4x6 print.

and because i totally screwed up & printed them upside down the first time i tried this (see 1st pic above),
here's another one if your printer feed prints another way.
i got the graphic here if it's easier to print it that way. and i added the saying using pic monkey before saving it to my computer.

remember don't cut all the way through!
i turned my knife sideways while i cut it out.

ok so put those bags aside for a sec.
then grab your cut out bags again,
you can play peek a boo with your fingers before putting the clear candy bags in.
just kidding.
man it's hard to photograph clear double stick tape...
let's just go raid the craft room now.
the details make it extra special.
like twine for the lid, stickers for the jar and washi tape to seal the folded top flap.
see?

now you have some cute valentine bags to keep to yourself give away. you'll they'll be so happy to have 'em that they'll tell others to keep make some for themselves!
and it's all cuz all of you are such sweeties.
