turtle cookies for dad's day

ONCE
 upon a time,
there were a breed of turtles.
turtle cookies actually.
in fact,
so they were put to the challenge.
til one day,
there came a certain hare into town.
he challenged one of them to a race.
and after that,
they began to fear if they would win,
but a young turtle with 2 small children volunteered.
yes, the kids were excited.
so they all set out to beat that darn hare.

and with that they did.
and they lived happily ever after.

(bet you already knew the ending didn't you?)

    1. YAY! one thing that may help the turtles get a better shape would be to refrigerate them or even freeze them for 10 minutes or so then stick it in the oven. i think my turtles were flat cuz the dough was warm from my hands and then sitting out a little bit when i baked them. i hope you do get to make them though Sara! thank you SO much! :>D
