cork board girl

are you a post-it noter?

cuz i certainly am.

i use post-it notes like they are goin' outta style.
can't help it.
i'm old and i forget things.
and i got toooo many things and screws going round n'round in my head.

a lot.

unlike my best friend who remembers everything.
and i mean everything

like from 20 years ago when she and i worked at the hospital together and she would say, "don't you remember so and so he was in room 443 bed 1 and he had asthma and his dr. was so and so and his mom looked like so and so and he had butter and strawberry jam with no seeds on his toast every morning?
aw c'mon you remember right?"

and i just look at her like i can't remember who she is.

i figure she remembers everything for me.
so why should i?

why else do you think she's my best friend?
heehee
just kidding debbie! (that's her name by the way)

anyway, back to post it notes.
i use them every day and they are always in my pocket and a bunch of them are on my dashboard  so i can remember where i am going and a ton are in my purse cuz i forgot i put them there.

that old lisa lost her mind.
e-i-e-i-o
with a post-it here,
a post-it there,
here a post-it, there a post-it,
everywhere a post-it, post-it.
that old lisa lost her mind.
e-i-e-i-o!!!

ahem.
i will move on.

i figure i better make something to help my ole brain out.
so i made something, since my bestie can't actually be with me every second of the day.
look!
she's covered in post-it notes!
could that actually be me?

ok, let's just see how i did this already.

squeeze that one picture hook thingie with pliers to close it up.

i put the glue on after i took the pics since it takes awhile to dry and i had to post this before i forgot.
not that i ever do that.
:>P
you can also reinforce the duct tape with more E-6000 glue like i did later myself. also i wrote on the back of the ribbon labels so the letters would show up more.
and there you have it!
and so i won't forget to see what i'm supposed to be doing or need, i stuck her here:
my little reminder girl.

so i can remember...ummmm....
what was it again?
