diy christmas snow holly ornaments

hey how was your thanksgiving?
oh my goodness i did sooooo much over the turkey holiday.

like make these diy christmas snow holly ornaments
for about 50 people!
they were quite pretty and once i got the hang of making one it was pretty easy to make the other 49-yikes!

the only thing i would complain about when making these is all the glitter you have to clean up afterwards but it sure makes the floor look pretty. lol

and speaking of floor,
who knew floor wax was ornament glue too?

yup, all you do is squeeze a few drops in the ornament, shake, and add whatever you want inside to stick.

this is what i did:
i got some faux snow and
tiny styrofoam balls at dollar tree and did this:

look out!
it's a snow ornament blizzard!!!
while they dry, i went black friday shopping at michael's and snagged some holly branches to use with my dollar tree bows.
then this is the start to the second pile of
glitter-everywhere-and-in-your-hair chaos.

hey now doesn't that look festive?
but i had to personalize them too so i hot glued the hanging holly to the ornament and made some silhouette vinyl names. plain old letter stickers would work too!

and that was that.
then i repeated
again and again and again and again and
again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again and again again and again and again and again and, well you get my drift,
cuz i made them for my co-workers.
so wow it was enough ornaments to cover a 10
foot tree!
along with enough glitter and tiny styrofoam balls to almost cover the north pole.
