decorated shark beach towel clips

dun dun.
dun dun.
dunny dun!
it's SHARK WEEK!

to me the scariest part about shark week is trying to get a shark post up before the week's ended :>P

but what should i do?
shark cookies? i already did that last year.

shark cupcakes? been done a million times.

shark sharks?
huh?
heck i'll just go the dollar store and
check it out before i kill myself trying.
well these looked interesting enough.
let's take 'em outta the package.

nothing like a few craft supplies can't cure.

whew! that was a close one.
those sharks almost got me i tell ya.
dang. it's always simpler than i think.

  1. Isn't it fun to find and create something from the dollar store? Those shark clips really came to life once you added your crazy (in a good way) creativity!

  5. From "grey-blobs-in-a-bag" to "fish-with-an-attitude!" Love the way you fixed them up!
Now, I'm afraid to go to the dollar store - and it's not because there are sharks there! I'm afraid I'll buy everything in sight - like I usually do! Wish I could just poke a fishing pole inside the front door (with a dollar as "bait") and pull these back out! Grandsons would love them - but then I'd be afraid they'd use them to scare little sissies!
Still, there you go again - showing us that an innocuous bag of plastic sharks can be turned into something very cute and funny!

    1. HAHAHA! can i borrow that fishing pole J? cuz looks like i use myself as bait and seem to catch things, a LOT of things actually, which fall into my cart. then i get them home, put them aside and wonder which the heck craft to start with then when i figure it out, i have 10 more in a pile waiting for me to put them together! oh goodness, perhaps i need a shark wirth attitude to scare me away from the stores?! :>O
