rainbow sprinkle muffins

hiyo!
goodness i've been m.i.a. lately i know!
and if you saw my last post you woulda thought
i croaked or something cuz i was sick then but i'm ok.

just had an unexpected blog break due to family stuff like college searching for my daughter, middle school projects with my son, getting a new used car, and so on and so on not to mention laundry.

always laundry ugh

but hey i'm back today with some
rainbow sprinkle muffins just in time for
st. patty's day comin' up!
i got this recipe for big fluffy chocolate chip muffins
and wanted to make them but knew
i was waaay behind on blog posts so
i came up with a lickety split answer.

first i made the muffins following the recipe:

then while they were baking,
i gathered my colored sprinkles and
put them in a piping bag like you see below,
and decorated them like so:

these are fun and oh so sparkly in real yummy time life :)
and who cares about the pot of gold at the end of the rainbow,
chocolate chips are MUCH better! :)
