shark candy cups

LOOK OUT!
don't go into the water!
DO.
NOT.
GO.
INTO.
THE.
WATER.

what? it's summer and i'm so dang hot!

ok ok. you're right...
go ahead into the water.

but...
LOOK OUT!
don't go into the craft room!
DO.
NOT.
GO.
INTO.
THE.
CRAFT ROOM.
i'm serious this time!
it's because:
it all starts out with trip to walmart.
you can find these cups in the party section.
there's 8 to a pack and come in all sorts of colors.
i just free-handed a pen mark on the cup, and started to cut-you can always trim it so the edges depict a mouth better. make the cut about 1/2-1/3 down from the top to leave room to fill the cup up with goodies of your choice.
set that aside and grab some white cardstock,
red & black electrical tape,
lo-temp glue gun, google eyes,
 and keep using those scissors.
now do that again to make 2 rows of teeth.
good thing sharks have uneven crooked teeth-sure makes cutting them out easy!

also, i like using electrical tape because it stretches and bends and stays put.
plus the red makes for a cool gumline.

ok next step:
ok turn that fin around and glue it on right unlike that pic above (duh on my part)!

and now that that's all done, do it again and again to get:
JAWS x3 (or whatever number you choose).

so what do you do with these?
yikes!
he looks awful hungry!

wonder why sharks are always so darn hungry???
oh gosh! no wonder they're hungry!
they got nothin' in their bellies!

better feed these fellas or they're gonna be looking at my fat thigh to munch on. lol

golly!
slow down you greedy sharks you!
and chew with your mouth closed will ya?!?!!
huh?
should we tell them you can get those fish at any walmart?
oh those poor fish don't stand a chance...
poor guy is in such shock he doesn't realize he's missing his tail!?!

that way when they're all filled,
the kids can take over from there.
enjoy shark week everyone!
and watch out for those sharknados too.
