12 days of bloggy christmas/day 12: mason jar cookie cutter cookie mix fudge

it's the last day of bloggy christmas!

and it's my turn again so today
we are going to make this:
Brought to you by:

weeee!
this is a fun gift that you can give your besties instead of the usual cookie mix jars (which by the way still rock).
but you won't have to buy so many ingredients to make a bunch.

i'll let the pics do the talking.
that's if you want to make 1 kind of fudge but i made 2 kinds as you will see in a sec.
put those aside.
i am going to make 1/2 the recipe vanilla
and the other half chocolate just because.

ok so do the same for chocolate chips and chocolate frosting if you want.

then,

place your sprinkles before the fudge sets,
pressing it down on the fudge to keep in place.
the layering is up to you-just have fun!
hey what about the lid?
no prob...

hey what about the tag?
no problem...

i just made those names up just for fun.
again, just for fun.
you don't want them to mix the fudge with an egg and butter, believe me.
and tell them to skip the baking part too...

then bag them up in a cellophane bag
and tie off with more twine or ribbon or cord like i did here.
and there you have it!
a cookie mix that's not really a cookie mix
in a mason jar that really isn't a mason jar
gift treat.

huh?

oh all this holiday chaos (aka things to do list) is making my brain deteriorate...

  3. I've really enjoyed your bloggy tour over these past few busy-busy weeks, but this is my fave! I bought a Mason jar paper punch at Michael's a month ago and couldn't figure out what to do with it! (But HAD to have it anyways, ya know? - um yeah, I think you do!) So here we are! A cute mix treat with recipe on a punched tag. Perfect!
