donut cookies

a coupla days ago i made some watermelon cookies out of ready made sugar cookie mix. 
i had some of the dough left over so i got to thinking, and made some more treats.

there is a teeny tiny corner of my kitchen that does not contain sugar so i just HAD to fill it. :>P

here goes:








so are these donuts? or are these cookies?
i'm confused.
 but wait!
do you know what today is?

why it's

so DONUTS it is!
i figure with donut day there will be tons of donuts in blogland and wanted to throw you a curve.
and the truth is i LOVELOVELOVE me some donuts and couldn't pick one out to make. 
so 12 dozen variety donuts for me it is. 

in the meantime, i gotta remember to make some donuts for 
national cookie day! 
whenever that is...

    Well, my FIRST comment said I'd rather eat a plateful of your 'donuts' than a real one anyday!!! Hmmm. Can I have cookies for breakfast? I'm hungry. Thanks again to my BBFF!!
