mini pop tart goodie bags (for father's day)

i know i know.
my supposed little unexpected blog break
took a lot longer than i expected.

i was too busy blah blah blah,
i felt lazy blah blah blah,
i wanted a blog brainbreak blah blah blah,
summer started blah blah blah.
blah blah blah blah...

and then father's day started to come up
and i thought uh oh!
no more blah blah blahing
and let's get to work!

with some crafting to make these
mini pop tart goodie bags for your favorite pop (tart).
they are super duper easy and
i bet all you 27 crafty people out there
who read my blog can figure out
how to make them without instruction.

but here goes a tute for my favorite 27 people in blogland.

it just takes some mini bags from michael's, felt, and doodads here and there to add the details.
so just free hand cut your 1st layer of
frosting from any colored felt you want,
making sure you cut it to fit just inside the
front of the bag to leave a pop tart border.
then grab your doodads.
(dooDADS for father's day hyuck hyuck)

glue it all together or use that 3-D paint pen to get
your pop tart assortment:
then grab a bronze colored sharpie to add
the pop tart lines for the crust edges.
and there you have your
official nonedible mini pop tarts.

wanna add one more detail to make the pop tarts for your favorite pop?

just write it on the back!

now time to get some goodies to fill the little mini's.
hope your fave pop likes these.
as for me, i sure am glad you decided
to pop back in and visit me here
at this lazy summer blog.
