party hat cupcake stand glasses

i'm such a sucker for mini things or things that aren't usually found at most stores.
i find some major inspiration especially from things that can be embellished in some way with my fascination of colors galore.

such is the story of how these cupcake stands came to be.
yup. 6 cute little martini glasses made outta plastic.
not that i ever drank a martini in my life is why i bought these, but i saw great potential for color again.

yup. i said hats. cuz martini glasses turned upside down look like party hats to me.

with the help of these:

now all we gotta do is add the cupcakes!

but of course we have to decorate them too. so,

that's why i just added "happy" and "party" instead of birthday or congrats or whatever.

if you really want, you can flip them right side up and use them as actual glasses but the happy and party words will be upside down.

i guess if you have a martini in them you won't notice anyway?...
but i do advise a small straw cuz no one likes the taste of sharpie marker.

and when the party is over, put them back in the box.
and they'll be ready to party again.
