rainbow piggy bank cake pops

well did you wonder if i was ever gonna post
a st. patty's day treat soon?
if you did, your wish is my command.

but i must warn you,
these treats are not leprechauns.
or pots of gold. or rainbow desserts in a jar.

in fact, i don't think you would think of these for
st. patty's day at all.
but they do include rainbows.
and gold.
and leprechaun hats.

so that's technically ok right?
and speaking of technical, let's see what the heck i made for you today.
i just used box mix.
box mix is ok seeing that you got other things to do for this aside from making a cake.
other things like making this:
i hope you guys made/heard of cake pops before.
if not, google it and you will find
i think that should do ya...
look! it's a multicolored alien thinga-ma-bob!
that's st. patty's day right?

huh?
yup. you read that right.
i said "pig".

you can see it come together more here:
ok so now let's really see it after we dip it.
don't forget his $ sign on each side too.

dang!
i forgot to take a pic of his curly tail!
oh well, you guys will be alright i'm sure...
not st. patty's day enough for you?
ok, we can fix that...
poor guy.
well, at least they got more money to party.
i dunno.
with 2 cents i think the piggies need to
look at the end of some rainbows.

may the luck of the irish be upon them!

  7. Absolutely delightful! Once again I sat on the edge of my seat, wondering where you were going with this! Never expected that multi-colored blob to become a darling little piggy! It looks great! And I am going to look for that little spatula thingie at our BF Joe's because I need it! Was just at World Market too and never looked at the candy aisle. They sure have the cute and unusual for projects like this!
