sombrero hat egghead cookies

ooooo! what is this?
a treat for cinco de mayo maybe?
did you say those were cookies?
but how in the world did they come to be?

let's ask them ok?
asleep?
no! that can't be!!!

never mind. i think i can figure this out.
wanna know how?

well it all started out last week when i was putting my easter decor away.
suddenly it hit me!
the colors and shapes made me think, "hey! i can make something outta these instead of putting them away for another year!"
and my blogger brain got the best of me again.

i had a bunch of eggs with holes on the tops and bottom. i didn't wanna use those. so when i found i had some "hole less" eggs i was thrilled.

so i did this:
then i made the cookies.
after the cookies cool,
but i think after all that decorating fun,
we deserve a treat for our tummies to celebrate the 5th on the 5th month!

so now you can have your hat and eat it too.
(wait a minute...does that even make sense?)

i think i need a siesta!
zzzzzzzzzz

  6. Unbelievable! Adorable! Brilliant! Cute! Amazing! Yummy! Well, you get the idea. And I had recently read a blog that gave 20 ideas for those plastic eggs and this wasn't on it! Add "one of a kind" to my list of adjectives! So I went out and bought 2 bags of plastic eggs. BIG bags. THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU!!! You are truly creative. (But if I may add....your brain scares me....just a little!) Dona
