today i am back in my craft room.
i am supposed to be organizing, rearranging, and sifting through my over abundance of craft supplies but instead i made something.
i figured it is kinda towards the organizing category.
so this is how you can make one too.
i got the tissue paper at hobby lobby, these chalkboard labels at michael's, and the pom poms at jo ann's.
so now let's write on the label.
ok now i realize this jar is covered with pom poms and the little sign may be redundant but not really for me cuz when i am looking for pom poms i can say to myself " HELLO pom poms are over here you crazy hoarder you!" since it has been 99.9% of the time that i cannot remember where i put certain craft supplies when i need them.
so now it's time for the lid.
ok so what about the back?
no worries, i got it covered here:
and there you have it.
now to get to my other 2,351,164,769,000
jars i have in my craft room to hold the other
3,452,553,765,234,001 supplies...
Totally adorable! Love that tissue paper! I'm in my craft room today, too! Organizing, clearing...yadda, yadda. But earlier I was in JoAnn's using part of my wonderful gift card and they had a whole aisle of
ReplyDelete"food crafting" stuff!! Did I think of you or WHAT?? Ice cube trays that look like flip flops??? Hello? I think they are calling your name! And if you show me what I can do with 'em, I'll go buy them!!! You are the BEST BBFF in the universe!!!! Dona
HAHA! that food crafting aisle you talk about is my second home. actually ALL food crafting aisles are. i didn't get the flip flop mold cuz i can't think of another way to use it aside from making flip flops...but now that you said it, you got my gears turning! dag gone i will NEVER get my craft room fixed cuz i'm too busy making crazy stuff-LOL! oh well, we can dream right BBFF? :>D
DeleteIt looks to me like you made good use of your time in the craft room that jar is adorable!! :)
ReplyDeletethank you Kim! now if only i can take that time and double it so i can get my craft stuff in place instead of scratching my head wondering where the heck that do-hickey i just bought a few days ago went to! LOL ;)
DeleteHi Lisa - We have a minor explosion of pom poms left over from a science project this fall. I have plenty of Mason Jars. I love the pom pom jar for pom poms. It seems so.... obvious. Yet why are the rogue pom poms still on the shelf in the library where they have been since this fall? Hummmm....
ReplyDeleteHappy Day! Hugs, Holly
hey! sounds like you need one of these pom pom jars Holly! and i can feel your pain-i have my christmas stuff in one corner of my craft room-heck it's gonna be christmas by the time i get around to putting it away! LOL happy day to you too! :>D
DeleteLOL Cute project and cute comments! I buy things and stash em, thinking, "I'll never forget where I put these!" HA! Could use a nice lineup of these jars!
ReplyDeleteAnd I really laughed at imklvr's comment. I was in Michael's last week with a coupon burning a hole in my purse and not an idea in my brain. I said to myself, "Now what would LISA buy?" Was headed to the baking aisle and then - SQUIRREL!!! - came home instead with a pack of glow-in-the-dark Moonstones for the grandkids. Go figure!
oh my goodness J! you TOTALLY crack me up!!! :>D those darn squirrels! they keep popping outta no where and diverting my attention! i never knew i had ADCD (attention deficit craft disorder) til i started blogging-some day in our next life we must go to michael's together and burn tons of holes in our purse whilst chasing squirrels away. heehee on second thought, i kinda like those squirrels. they come up with the best ideas! :>D
Delete(oh i gotta go check those glo-in-the-dark moonstones for ME!-HA!)
We are soooo hanging out together in our "next life!" And I'm pretty sure there won't be a "one coupon per day" limit there either - wooo hooo! - we are soooo gonna have FUN!
